Here’s something we don’t see every day!

OFS Shop takes on restoration of a vintage Wurlitzer Jukebox for a local Connecticut Museum

Wurlitzer Juke_1-optThe Vintage Radio & Communication Museum of Connecticut in Windsor is a little hidden gem of history and culture in our community.

This winter, museum staff challenged our skilled craftsman to strip, repair, and refinish the walnut cabinet of a 1940’s era Wurlitzer Model 700 Jukebox.

While OFS is normally finishing, touching up or refinishing larger architectural millwork projects, kitchens, libraries, and vanities, we enjoy letting our skilled craftsman show off their talents with projects like this. Larger scale historical restoration projects such as YCBA (Yale Center for British Arts), featured in an earlier newsletter, have become a large segment of the services that we provide.

We like to illustrate this type of project because if we can restore an intricate historic piece like this, just think of what OFS Corp. can do for your office furniture!
