U.S. Coast Guard Training doors to pool were badly rusted and unsightly.

U.S. Coast Guard Training doors to pool were badly rusted and unsightly.

The U.S. Coast Guard – “Always Ready” – one of our nation’s five military services. They exist to defend and preserve the United States by protecting our marine transportation and infrastructure from both natural and man-made threats.

At OFS we appreciate their service and want to keep their buildings and bases looking their best.

Our metal restoration crew took special pride in servicing severely rusted stainless steel doors and trim for our service men and women.

The OFS metalwork and maintenance department also recently completed brass doors and trim at the Superior Courthouse in Hartford as seen below.

Metal surfaces are another architectural feature that benefit from frequent, minor maintenance practices in order to save money in big repairs and restoration work in the future.
